Lankaran State University (LSU) hosted international conference
The
conference was commenced with the opening of the monument of National
Leader Haydar Aliyev at LSU building of social sciences. Participants
were informed about education conduct and other activities of the LSU.
As of today, representatives of the neighbor countries such as Turkey,
Russia, Ukraine, etc. and academic staff of various higher education
institutions take active participation in the conference.
It is
significant to note that the conference is organized with the joint
support of LSU, Lankaran Regional Scientific Center of ANAS, Baku State
University, Qafqaz University and Azerbaijan Tourism Institute.
The
rector of the LSU Prof. Asaf Iskandarov informed that the topic of
current national development model of Azerbaijan Republic, which is
discussed and explored worldwide, will be on the conference agenda: “The
issues of sustainable development and governance are studied both
theoretically and practically, on a regular basis, by various science
fields. Therefore, during the conference of sustainable development and
governance more than 150 practical and scientific reports on social and
political sciences will be analyzed and drawn conclusion from. The
conference is delivered in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages.”
At the
end of the conference students and young researchers will be provided
with the one-week workshop opportunity on related topics. The lectures
of the workshops will be delivered by well-known experts and
academicians.
